As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Walmart’s online marketplace allows third-party sellers to list and sell their products. Here’s a general guide on how to upload a single product to Walmart’s marketplace:
Sign In to Your Walmart Seller Account: Log in to your Walmart seller account. If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one first.
Access the “Add a Product” Section: Once logged in, navigate to the “Add a Product” section or its equivalent in your Walmart seller dashboard.
Choose a Category: Select the appropriate category for the product you want to list. Walmart has a variety of categories, so choose the one that best matches your product.
Product Details: Fill in the product details, including the title, brand, manufacturer, and other relevant information. Be sure to provide accurate and clear information.
Product Identifiers: Depending on the product category, you may need to provide unique identifiers like UPC, EAN, ISBN, or GTIN. Make sure you have accurate identifiers for your product.
Images: Upload high-quality images of your product. Walmart has specific image guidelines that you need to adhere to.
Description: Write a detailed product description. Provide information about the item’s features, specifications, and any other relevant details.
Price and Offer: Set the price for your product and specify any offers, discounts, or promotions if applicable.
Inventory and Shipping: Specify the available quantity of the product and set up your shipping options, including shipping charges and delivery times.
Tax Information: Provide your tax information, including your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Preview and Publish: Review all the information you’ve entered and ensure it’s accurate. Once you’re satisfied, click the “Preview” or “Publish” button to make your product listing live on Walmart’s marketplace.
Check Listing Status: After publishing, your product listing will be reviewed by Walmart. You can check the listing status in your seller dashboard.
Promote Your Listing: Consider using Walmart’s promotional tools, such as sponsored products or featured items, to increase the visibility of your listing.
Monitor and Manage: Once your product is listed, use your Walmart seller dashboard to monitor sales, manage orders, handle customer inquiries, and adjust your listing details as needed.
Please note that the process and features on Walmart’s marketplace may have evolved since my last update. Always refer to Walmart’s official seller resources and support for the most up-to-date and detailed information on listing products on their platform.
